GRAND PRIZE WINNER PJPA GRADUATE PRINTMAKING AWARD 2011 (2011-01-13)

We started the year with the Port Jackson Press Australia Graduate Printmaking Award, now in its fourth year, being held at PJPA's sister gallery James Makin Gallery in Collingwood.

The judges Peter Lancaster, director of Lancaster Press, Jenny Port, director of Jenny Port Gallery and Karen Quinlan, director of Bendigo Art Gallery completed the difficult task of selecting this year's winner along with three high commendations.

The grand prize winner was awarded $4000 cash and a full feature article in Imprint kindly donated by the Print Council of Australia.

The general public voted for the People's Choice Award, kindly sponsored by Art Almanac and Magnani Papers.
