Port Jackson Press Australia has a long held tradition of quality in printmaking. Established in 1975 as a Limited Edition Print Publisher and distributor, the past thirty years has seen Port Jackson publish significant editions by some of Australia’s most highly regarded artists. The company has also consistently supported emerging printmakers, collaborating successfully with those exploring contemporary printmaking.
Over recent years the business has expanded to incorporate other mediums of artistic expression. Paintings, sculpture and works on paper by our stable of represented artists are now housed in the James Makin Gallery. The Print Room located in Fitzroy still specialises solely in Limited Edition Prints, while the Port Jackson Press Studio houses our printmaking facilities and is where the editions are printed.
